Simon Phillip arrived at his new home at Haven on the Hill on 18 May, 2011 at age 6 (approx).

Birthdate: 13 July, 2004 (estimated)

Simon's was abandoned by his mother in November, 2009. The whereabouts of the mother is not known and no other relative has claimed him.

May, 2011: Phil says "Simon's name was listed only as Mohammed on the children's report. At Simon's request we gave him his new name. He also wanted to be named Phillip, hence Simon Phillip. This is our only child who has been named after me. To me, it is a high honor! Simon Phillip has lots of potential. He stands out in his personality and his obvious zest for life. I believe his love for God will surpass even his zest."

Nov, 2011: Phil says "Simon has a wonderful personality. One of his great loves is playing football (soccer). We want to level a football field at Haven especially for him."
