Erick Maina arrived at his new home at Haven on the Hill on 18 May, 2011 at age 4 (approx).

Birthdate: 20 March, 2007 (estimated)

Erick was found by police officer on patrol within Embakasi area at Mradi alone on 23 Nov, 2010. Since then he has gone for press session for identification purposes but no one has come forth to claim him." But we did!

May, 2011 - Phil says: "On David's first day at Haven, mom Beatrice called Janice and me over and told us that David was refusing to do anything she asked. We found David in a defiant stance and not obeying any request. The Holy Spirit told me to take him up in my arms, hug him and love on him. I obeyed and prayed for him while carrying him around for a while. After that he was fine and the latest report from mom is that David is the most well behaved of all our new boys at school! Praise the Lord! Later, we found out that his name is actually Erick, not David as we had been calling him. No wonder he was having problems, with us calling him the wrong name :)."
