David Mungai arrived at his new home at Haven on the Hill on 18 May, 2011 at age 3 (approx).

Birthdate:24 Nov, 2007 (estimated)

David Mungai and his brother James Macharia were committed to Nairobi Children's Home by Thika Children's Court. No one knows who their parents or relatives are or if any are living, and no one claimed them, so we did. Mungai is a sweetie and he captured our hearts, especially Janice's. As of October, 2011, Mungai is the youngest of the Haven boys.

Nov, 2011 - Phil says: "Mungai has such a personality! He is in control without a hint of rebellion or forcefulness. He knows no strangers. Since he does not yet go to school, you can hear his distinctive voice providing facts and instructions to me, our friends, the shamba workers and anyone else who will take the time to visit with him. Plus, he is cute!"
