Lawrence Kavai arrived at his new home at Haven on the Hill on 01 November, 2011 at age 5 (approx).

Birthdate: 17 October, 2006 (estimated)

Lawrence was referred to Nairobi Rescue Center by Nairobi Children's Court as a lost child in need of care and protection.

Nov, 2011 - Phil says: "When Lawrence arrived at Haven he spent the first night keeping to himself and crying. He wouldn't join in the nighttime festivities. The next day he did a lot better and by the second day he seemed to be adjusting well to his new home. Lawrence has a wonderful smile."
